Full Year Band Level Program

Competitive Ninja Warrior

We are evolving our Ninja Warrior Band Level System into a tiered competitive team structure that gives advanced and intermediate athletes a clear path to train, grow, and compete - with flexibility for different levels of commitment. This allows us to streamline classes and align them with skill progression and athlete goals.

These classes will run for 10 months from September to June for participants ages 9+.

CLASS CANCELLATIONS: Sept. 30, Oct. 11, 12, 13, Dec. 22-Jan. 5, Feb. 14, 15, 16, March 28 to April 6, May 16, 17, 18

Band Level Structure - Overview

Beginner Class (recreational)

  • Will consist of students working towards level 1 (green) and 2 (Purple) bands

  • Level 1 - will be focusing on building strength and learning the foundational movements and obstacles of Ninja Warrior

  • Level 2 - will be taking the foundational movements one step further, and there will be an emphasis on performing these movements quickly. More challenging obstacles will also be introduced. 

Intermediate Class (recreational)

  • Will consist of students working towards level 3 (yellow) bands

  • Will be working on much longer courses, along with obstacles that follow the Canadian Ninja League’s competition guidelines. At this level, strength challenges will become increasingly difficult, and the workouts will increase in intensity.

  • Stays aligned with recreational classes to keep options open for all families. Open to all level 2 and up who enjoy training but don’t wish to compete. 60 minute classes

Team Link (Intermediate competitive team)

  • Will consist of students working towards level 4 (red) band

  • This is the bridge band to enter competitive training. This builds speed, linking skills, and competition readiness. 60 minute class format and three tier membership options available.

Team Hybrid (advanced competitive team)

  • Will consist of students who have successfully passed level 4 (red) and level 5 (black).

  • Level 4 is required to be able to be in team hybrid. This class will be focused on strength, endurance, mindest and competition mastery. These will be 90 minute class format and three tier membership options are available.

 

LEVEL ASsESSMENTS

To determine which band level they should be working toward, the students interested in this program will test their skill level in an Assessment. This will help ensure that they are placed in a class that is appropriate for their progression. These sessions are an hour long, and will take place before every new registration period. You can register for yours at the front desk!

The challenges shown in each level and level assessment are NOT the only skills participants will be working on in class. These skills are a selection to make sure you are well versed in the most common areas. There will be a lot of other fun and exciting movements done over the year.
